Whipped Coconut oil

Ingredients:
- 1 cup coconut oil.
- a few drops of your favorite essential oils for fragrance (optional).
Recipe:
- Put all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Note: Do not melt the coconut oil first. It will only whip up if it’s solid. A little below room temperature is ideal
- Mix on high speed with a wire whisk for 6-7 minutes or until whipped into a light, airy consistency.
- Spoon the whipped coconut oil body butter into a glass jar and cover tightly. Store at cool place, or in the refrigerator if your house is so warm it melts the oil. 


Grapefruits

Grapefruits are rich in vitamin C that aids in improving the function of your metabolic system. Vitamin C regulates fat metabolism and aids in fat-burning.
Grapefruits also contain naringenin, a flavonoid, that has excellent antioxidant properties required for metabolism. Naringenin helps lower insulin levels in the blood. This in turn leads to balanced blood sugar levels and improved metabolism.
A 2006 study published in the Journal of Medicinal Food shows that obese people who included grapefruit, grapefruit juice and grapefruit capsules in their diet experienced significant weight loss at different levels. Insulin resistance was improved with fresh grapefruit.
Another study published in Nutrition and Metabolism in 2011 showed that combining a low-calorie diet with a glass of grapefruit juice or a snack of whole grapefruit has positive effects on energy balance, weight loss and body composition. There is also significantly greater benefits in lipid profiles.
For improved metabolism and quick weight loss, eat more fresh grapefruit with its fleshy white membranes or drink grapefruit juice with a high amount of pulp.
Note: As grapefruit juice and whole grapefruits can interact with certain prescription and nonprescription drugs, it is recommended to consult a doctor before including this fruit in your diet.

Growth Serum

Ingredients:
- 1 cup distilled water.
- 2 Tablespoons Dried Nettle Leaf.
- 2 Tablespoons Horsetail Leaf (optional).
- 2 Tablespoons Natural Aloe Vera Gel.
- 10 drops of Clary Sage Essential Oil.
- 10 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil.
- 10 drops of Lavender Essential Oil.
Recipe:
- Boil the distilled water and add the dried nettle leaf and horsetail leaf.
- Let the herbs sit in the water for at least 10 minutes or until water cools.
- Strain the herbs out and pour the herb infused liquid in to a spray bottle.
- Add the aloe vera and essential oils and shake well.
- Store in the fridge for up to 3 months and shake well before us.

Rose water

Ingredients:

Recipe:
- Soak cotton eye pads in pure rose water for a few minutes. \n- Put the soaked pads on your closed eyelids. \n- Leave them on for about 15 minutes. - Follow this remedy twice daily for a few weeks.

Cream Blush Recipe

Ingredients:
- ½ cup arrowroot powder.

- ½ cup corn starch (corn flour).

- Water

- Red food coloring (skin safe).

- 1-2 drops for light pink blush.

- 3-4 drops for medium pink blush.

- 5-6 drops for dark pink blush.
Recipe:
- Add the drops of food coloring to the bowl.
- Mix with 3 tbsp water and blend together.
- Add in the powders a teaspoon at a time mixing well. Continue adding powder until the mixture is of a soft clay consistency and easily breaks up into several pieces.
- Pat the blush into your container pressing down until it is full.
- Allow to dry naturally.
- The color when wet will look darker than when dry so don’t panic!

Cinnamon and Heny Mask

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of honey.
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
-  paper towels.
Recipe:
Rinse your face with water and pat dry. Mix 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon together until they are thoroughly blended and have formed a sort of paste. Apply the mask to your face (or spot treat) and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off completely, and pat your face dry. This is a sticky mixture, so make sure you have some paper towels at on hand.

Almonds interesting for your shape and health

Eating almonds can result in an increase in your body’s energy expenditure.
Although almonds are high in calories, they are packed with essential omega-3 fatty acids that are great metabolism boosters. These fatty acids reduce the production of a hormone known as leptin, a natural chemical that lowers your metabolism.
A 2007 study published in the British Journal of Nutrition found that daily consumption of almonds does not cause subjects to gain weight. This effect was attributed to its high fiber content.
Another 2007 study published in Metabolism reports that in addition to lowering serum cholesterol levels, almonds may also reduce the glycemic impact of carbohydrate foods with which they are eaten.
As almonds are rich in protein value, they aid in burning more calories after their consumption.
However, do not eat almonds in excess. Just a handful of soaked or dry-roasted almonds daily is enough.

whitening body scrub

Ingredients:
- Oats / Half cup.
- Tomato puree / Half cup.
- Curd/yogurt / 1 tablespoon.
- Lime juice / 2 teaspoons.
- Honey / 2 teaspoons.
Recipe:
- Grind oats to powder in a mixer. It shouldn’t be powdered finely because it will lose the scrubbing effect if it is smooth and fine.

- Mix tomato puree (Pasted raw tomato) and lime juice with this oats powder and blend well.

- Finally add the curd and honey. Mix well to form a smooth paste. If the mixture is too thick, you can add some rose water to it but keep in mind the paste shouldn’t be too thin. 

- After taking a shower, or finishing your bath apply this paste allover your body over the clean and wet skin surface. (Can also be used on face)

- Allow it to sit there for 10 minutes. (Skin absorbs the ingredients and rejuvenate)

- Now scrub your body with a LOOFAH pad (Available in super markets) gently over the thinner skin areas and rough over the knees and elbows. Scrub well for 10 minutes. If you don’t prefer to use a loofah, you can also scrub with your fingers for a mild scrubbing effect. But loofah works really best to lighten the skin and remove tan.

- Once the scrubbing process is complete, rinse your body with clean and cold water thoroughly. Pat dry with clean cotton towel.

Raw papaya for unwanted hair removal

Ingredients:
- Raw papaya paste- 1-2 tablespoons.
- Turmeric powder- ½ tsp.
Recipe:
- Make papaya paste by peeling and grinding raw papaya pieces.
- Mix turmeric powder with this raw papaya paste.
- Massage your face with this paste for about 15 minutes.
- Wash off with water.
- Do this once or twice a week.

natural red lipstick

Ingredients:
- Beeswax.
- Shea butter.
- Beet root powder.
Recipe:
- I tried using a tablespoon of each and it worked well, but I thought upping the beet root powder to 1.5 tablespoons came out the best.

- Put all ingredients in a small microwavable cup. Put in the microwave for 15 seconds at a time. Stir in between microwaving so your ingredients don't scorch. You can also do this over the stove. Your goal is to melt down the beeswax and shea butter.

- Once it's all melted and blended together, pour into a small container. I found these 1 ounce jars at Michael's in the paint section. Let it cool and you're done.
